Plain Language Privacy Policy

for ReadyToBeFree.com and PentecostSunday.com

Here is our Privacy Policy in plain, everyday language. It's pretty simple.

Spam: Never. We hate it, and we don't do it.

We never send spam to anyone, and we never sell or give any addresses to spammers. If you request a free booklet or free CD-ROM from this site, then one or two of our local churches near you will be contact and asked to deliver the requested product to you. Except for that, no one is ever given anyone's name, address, or email address from this site's database. If you order a free product, you'll have a choice of whether to supply an email address or not, and whether you'd like to be kept up-to-date by email or not. If you choose not, you won't be contacted by us via email. If you choose yes, we might very rarely email our list about a coming event of interest. If you wish to be removed from the email list at any time, just email us at djoseph@upci.org and inform us, and we'll remove your email address from the list.

Credit Card Info: None.

All the products offered on this site are free (we even cover the shipping costs), so we neither ask for, nor store, any credit card account info or billing info on this site. We do maintain a database in a secure area, so that when a guest such as yourself requests one of our free products, we can keep track of your information and fulfill your request. Any products displayed that require a purchase would also require leaving our sites to make the purchase.

Web Cookies: Yes, but not personally identifying.

We use cookies, but we don't gather any personally identifiable info with them. Some people are concerned about the use of web "cookies" -- which are tiny little text files used to gather and store information about how a website is used. The dramatic fears about web cookies -- how that all websites will record who you are and store records of where you surfed -- are mostly hysteria. Such fears are certainly not true about our website. We use cookies only to know which pages in our site are the most popular, which websites referred people to our site (not who was referred!) (i.e. which search engines were used to help people find us), and from which countries the sites' visitors are hailing. Nothing that could identify you personally is gathered or stored via cookies. Nothing that could identify you personally is gathered or stored without your explicit knowledge and consent, by you typing that info into a form to request a free product.

To reiterate, we never sell or give any names, address, email addresses (or any other info) to any person or group who might spam you or send you junk mail.
